How does Skintelligent analyse my skin?
Skintelligent uses on-device AI models combined with optional cloud-based analysis to assess your skin from daily photos. The app evaluates readiness, barrier health, inflammation, and oil levels to provide a comprehensive view of your skin condition.
Is my data private and secure?
Absolutely. Photos are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). HealthKit data is never shared with third parties or used for advertising. You can delete all your data at any time from within the app.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open Skintelligent, go to Settings, then tap "Delete Account." This will permanently remove your account and all associated data from our servers within 30 days.
What does each skin metric mean?
Readiness reflects overall skin condition. Barrier Health measures your skin’s protective layer. Inflammation tracks redness and irritation. Oil Level monitors sebum balance. Each metric is scored 0–100.
Can I use the app without a subscription?
Yes. The free tier includes daily check-ins, a basic skin score, and a simplified morning and evening routine. Premium features such as trend analysis, advanced insights, and personalised care plans require a subscription.
How often should I take a check-in photo?
We recommend once per day, ideally in the morning before applying any products. Consistency helps the AI detect patterns and provide more accurate trend insights over time.
Does Skintelligent replace a dermatologist?
No. Skintelligent is a wellness and tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any skin condition. Always consult a qualified dermatologist for medical concerns.
Which devices are supported?
Skintelligent is available on iPhone running iOS 17 or later. iPad and Android support are on our roadmap.
